Design Consideration:

• Not inherently UV stable
• Chemically susceptible to most machining lubricants, aromatic and chlorinated
• Hydrocarbons, acetates, esters, ketones and concentrated acids
• Not recommended for sliding applications

The Sulphonic Polymer are amorphous engineering thermoplastics with provenperformance at elevated temperatures. Good mechanical properties and thermal stability allows load bearing applications over a broad temperature range. Other significantfeatures are flame retardance and good chemical resistance. Their ability to withstand common sterilization techniques makes their use in dispensable in medical instruments andfood processing.
